Michael Mitnick is a playwriter and songwriter.
His plays and musicplays have been developed around the country at theaters including Manhattan Theatre Club, Second Stage, Ars Nova, The McCarter, The Denver Center Theatre Company, TheatreWorks, The Lark, Studio 42, Washington Ensemble Theatre, Page 73, and The Kennedy Center.
He received the Best New American Play Award, a biennial distinction, from his friend Matt.
He lives in Brooklyn, NY and abroad.
